Why We Started
Instituto Nantes Family was born from a desire to restore dignity, hope, and family to vulnerable children in Brazil. After witnessing the needs of abandoned and neglected children, our mission became clear: create a safe place where children can experience love, education, stability, and the presence of God.

At Nantes Family Foundation, we believe every child deserves more than care—they deserve a family, a home, and a place where they are loved unconditionally for life.Our methodology is built on the belief that healing happens through belonging. Children thrive when they know they are wanted, valued, protected, and permanently connected to a family that will walk beside them through every stage of life. Rather than focusing on temporary solutions, our approach is centered on creating lasting family relationships that provide stability, identity, guidance, and hope. We are committed to raising children in a nurturing family environment where they can heal from past hardships, discover their potential, and build a brighter future. Our model focuses on the whole child—emotional, physical, educational, relational, and spiritual well-being—ensuring that every child receives the support needed to flourish.
The goal is not simply to provide services. The goal is to provide family. Because every child deserves a place to belong, a home to return to, and people who will love them for a lifetime.
